San Lucia Residence

San Lucia Residence

San Lucia Residence is conceived as an inward-looking home that unfolds around a private, central courtyard. Heavy, tactile brick “bookend” walls anchor the home to the earth. Expansive cantilevered overhangs reach outward to shelter the living spaces, blurring the line between indoors and out. Brought to life through a curated palette of rich natural wood, sleek metal panels, and earthy brick, the home is as architecturally expressive as it is deeply inviting.

Seamless Transitions: The Kitchen and Courtyard

The heart of the San Lucia Residence is found where the interior gracefully yields to the exterior. Designed for genuine indoor-outdoor living, the primary kitchen dissolves its physical boundaries, merging the interior workspace with an adjacent outdoor kitchen. This intentional connection transforms the two areas into one continuous environment, inviting fresh air, shifting natural light, and the tranquility of the courtyard directly into the daily rhythms of the home.

The Quiet Counterpoint

A cozy counterpart to the home’s active living areas, the library is a secluded haven for relaxation. The space invites you to retreat from the world, slow down, and get lost within an extensive book collection.
