We’re a curious, collaborative studio that believes great design comes from trust, care, and a shared love of the craft. We enjoy working as a team to design something special.
And when we’re not designing, you’ll find us fishing, cooking, hiking, skiing, golfing, paddleboarding, hunting, backpacking, snowmobiling, traveling, watching sports, or dipping our toes in the water at a nearby Lake Michigan beach. Where the shoreline leads, the architecture follows.
Set on a rare point along southern Lake Michigan, Pine Bluff Residence was designed as a retreat for a Chicago family - one that fully embraces its surroundings. Expansive windows frame sweeping views down the shoreline and out to the water, while a palette of natural materials grounds the home in its landscape.
Inside, a fieldstone fireplace anchors the space and is ideal for colder lake days. Outside, an entertainer’s dream unfolds: pool, hot tub, and uninterrupted views of Lake Michigan as the ultimate backdrop.
