Job site visits during framing is exciting to us as the form of the building is really revealed at this stage in construction. Here we can get a feel for the compound of boxes that are perched above the site that comprise this project.
Framing stage is also a good time for us to check back in on how the project aligns with design intent for site placement. This particular project we worked hard to preserve the site’s beautiful beach trees. Not only preserve, but highlight each of them with the architecture.
We also take time to look over potential exterior materials and stains to select a few for site mockups. Involving the owner, contractor, and architect in this discussion is critical.
