Another project’s construction is underway in Ada Township. The building forms are taking shape on the wooded site. From the exterior, you can visibly see which spaces are going to be the garage, entry, main living spaces and 2-story high bedroom wing.
There is a fair amount of exposed concrete on the project. Concrete walls lead guests into the entry and form the base of the outdoor living area. Many discussions between the contractor and architect centered on the importance of the exposed walls having a single pour, evenly spaced formwork, and architecturally finished concrete. A visit to the site confirms that expected care was taken with the construction of these highly visible walls.
The open stairs will offer a framed view of the pines beyond.
